Hi! I’m dr. Maritza Baez, your independent Beauty Ecologist for Pangea Organics.

Today I want to talk to you about our Turkish rose and white tea eye cream.

The New Year is upon us and I want you to have a new mantra for your beauty routine.

Repeat after me. Better yet, write it down and frame it so you can see it everyday!

A rose a day helps keep the fine lines away! Let me say that again. A rose a day helps keep the fine lines away.

A vital component to your daily skincare routine, this eye cream contains the

essential nutrients needed to protect, soften and nourish your delicate area.

One of the main ingredients in our eye cream is rose otto essential oil.

The Rose, a symbol of the soul, is one of the world’s most precious flower oils,

with the essence of over 2000 petals in every drop! Recommended for all skin types from delicate to demanding,

rose oil is best known for its restorative, beautifying, and anti-wrinkle properties.

It is hydrating, emollient, soothing, protecting, rejuvenating and toning, leaving the skin feeling supple, soft and full.

Its historical roots run deep in both aromatherapy and skin care.

Some believe rose oil can awaken the heart as well as combat melancholy and tension.

It’s no wonder rose is considered the queen of flowers.

Another key ingredient in our eye cream is white tea, is superior antioxidant and anti irritant agent.

It is rich in polyphenols, helps inhibit the destruction of collagen and protects against sun damage to prevent wrinkles and dark spots.

We also use a balanced ratio of coq10 and vitamin E acetate in squalene

that works synergistically to provide full antioxidant protection to the skin.

Coenzyme q10 is a vitamin-like substance naturally existing in the cell membrane and is indispensable to maintain healthy cell function.

The amount of coq10 we have in our skin actually diminishes with age and after UV exposure.

Therefore, its an essential ingredient to an effective anti aging eye cream.

Vitamin E acetate is one of the most stable forms of vitamin E, the most antioxidant of the vitamins,

and promotes restoration within the skin while helping the skin feel supple and look younger! The base of squalene, derived from olive oil, is ideal for improving the bioavailability of the antioxidants.

Now how to use our product. Remember the skin under your eyes is the thinnest in your whole body so it is very important to be extra gentle with this area. You’re going to put a rice grain sized amount on your ring finger which is the weakest of your fingers and will put the least amount of pressure on your delicate eye area.  Now you’re going to dab it under your eye about half an inch underneath and then go around to your brow bone. You want to do this in the morning and at night to have healthy young looking eyes.

Key benefits of our eye cream are many. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, supports cellular regeneration, reduces puffiness and discoloration, is rich in antioxidants, it has a non oily application which makes it flawless under cosmetics, each tube is long lasting – approximately 3 to 4 months when applied twice daily, it’s gluten free, comes with a six month satisfaction guarantee and it provides amplified hydration with long-term visible results without dimethicone.

If you’ve never heard of dimethicone, its a man-made silicon oil used in many popular skin care products. Like petroleum products, silicon oils can actually make dry skin worse over time. Instead of sinking into your skin and nourishing it from the inside out, like healthy ingredients do, it forms a sort of plastic like barrier on the outside of your skin. That artificial coating on the outside of your skin causes several issues. It traps everything under it including bacteria, sebum and impurities, which could lead to increased breakouts and blackheads. The coating action actually prevents the skin from performing its natural activities, like sweating, temperature regulation, sloughing off dead skin cells, etc. Prolonged exposure to dimethicone can actually increase skin irritation, due to the coating property and because dimethicone is listed as a possible skin and eye irritant in the material safety data sheet. Those with sensitive or reactive skin are at an increased risk for allergic reactions to dimethicone. On top of all of this, dimethicone is not biodegradable so it’s bad for the environment. Using products with dimethicone can actually exacerbate skin aging, because you’re inhibiting skins natural processes. We’re creating a dependency on the coating product, disrupting the skin own hydrating process which in the end increases dryness, making fine lines and wrinkles more noticeable.

Pangea Organics Turkish rose and white tea ice cream only has certified organic non-toxic plant based ingredients so you will never find dimethicone in any of our products. If you would like to learn more about our ingredients or get more skin care tips, follow me on facebook.com/BuffaloPO
