Do you hate waking up with your nose clogged? Especially during allergy season, do you feel like you can’t breathe through your nose? Maybe your eyes itch, too, and it’s an uncomfortable feeling, isn’t it?
A few years ago, I started using this acupressure method to relieve sinus congestion. Of course, this may not correct the problem permanently, but it should help.
Your sinuses will begin to drain almost immediately. This works because the vomer bone in your nose rocks back and forth with the pressure, which loosens up the fluid and phlegm in your sinuses, allowing it to drain.
- Apply pressure with your tongue against the roof of your mouth.
- Place your thumb between your eyebrows.
- Press down with your thumb for about 30 seconds, applying a moderate amount of pressure.
Next time you’re feeling stuffy, try this!
I also recommend using a saline sinus rinse every morning & night. Works wonders!
