Zum Face Review

As you know I love skincare products that contain natural ingredients, so I was thrilled to be able to try out some Zum (rhymes with mum, come, from, and bum) Face products.  They are made by Indigo wild, based out of Kansas City Missouri. All of their products are made in the USA, are vegetarian, vegan except Zum Bars (goat’s milk), Zum Kisses (honey) and Zum Rub (goat’s milk), cruelty free and gluten free except Zum Body lotions (oat bran extract) and Oatmeal-Lavender Zum Bar (oatmeal).  FYI Rosemary extract is gluten free and contains soy.   Their products contain no parabens, petroleum by-products, synthetic colorings or fragrance, sulfates or phthalates, which makes them nontoxic as well!

Zum Face Nourishing Facial Oil

I’ll admit I have an addiction to facial oils.  Zum Face nourishing facial oil contains Meadowfoam seed oil and shea butter, which are rich in vitamin A & E, and noncomedogenic (it doesn’t clog your pores), making it perfect for all skin types. This facial oil feels amazing.  It is lightweight and easily absorbs into the skin, helping to restore the skin’s natural balance of oil and elasticity due to it’s incredible blend of antioxidant-rich ingredients.  It also helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots and blemishes.  I used it consistently for 2 weeks and noticed that my freckles appeared much lighter than before and my skin felt very supple and smooth.  I literally had 3+ patients a day telling me that I look younger every day!  2 – 3 drops a day to the face, neck and décolleté after cleansing and toning did the trick!  It did not feel greasy or uncomfortable, but rather luxurious and smooth.

Ingredients: Meadowfoam seed oil and shea butter extract, fractionated coconut oil, certified organic rosehip seed oil, pure essential oils, vitamin E, and jasmine absolute.

Zum Face Under Eye Butter

An essential part of any skincare routine is eye care.  Neglecting the area around one’s eyes is tantamount to forgetting to get dressed in the morning!  The area around the eyes is very delicate and so can age more quickly than the rest of the face.  So when you look for eye care products, you want lots of antioxidants, moisturizers and ingredients that won’t clog your pores.

Zum face under eye butter is an intense, heavy duty moisturizer, great for extremely dry skin but good for all skin types (I have combination skin).  I really like that I only needed a little bit for each eye (just a dab), and it glides smoothly without leaving me feeling greasy or heavy.  I discovered that my eyes were thirsty, and this was just what they needed.  You can use this in the morning or at night (or both) after cleansing and toning.  I felt like my eyes looked more rested after having used this nightly for 2+ weeks, and people were noticing!

Ingredients:  Certified organic shea butter, macadamia nut oil, evening primrose oil, beeswax, essential oils, and vitamin E.

Zum Face Gentle Facial Soap

I usually wash my face with liquid cleansers, but I found that I really enjoyed the Zum Face gentle facial bar soap.  It is made with premium oils that gently cleanse and help rejuvenate skin to keep it healthy without harsh detergents.  I had never used a soap that had goat’s milk in it, but it moisturized and smoothed my skin without stripping it of it’s natural pH balance or oils. It lathers richly without toxic sodium lauryl sulfate.

Ingredients: Saponified coconut, olive and palm oils, pure essential oils, meadowfoam seed oil and shea butter extract, goat’s milk, aloe vera and castor oil.
