TIPS FOR USING A FACIAL OIL

Facial oils are a great way to moisturize and get nutrients into your skin. The best facial oils consist of a combination of higher molecular weight oils, which are more protective and create a barrier on the skin, and lower molecular weight oils, which are small enough to penetrate in between the skin cells and provide deep moisturization. This combination provides the best results. Apply onto freshly exfoliated skin and you’ve got a recipe for smooth.  I recommend exfoliating with Pangea’s Egyptian Geranium with Adzuki Bean & Cranberry facial scrub – good for all skin types.

The method of application is important too. Rather than rubbing in small areas with your fingertips, try spreading the oil evenly between your two palms and then pressing the oil into your face using flat palms. Then roll your palms from wrists to fingertips whilst pressing into your skin. Not only will you use less product for a larger area (muy economical), but your face prefers it too and will soak it in more.

Apply to clean, moist skin where needed: forehead, cheekbones, chin, neck and décolleté. Gently massage in upward circular motions. Stimulating these areas will increase circulation and allow deep penetration of active ingredients. Recommended: partial pump for combo to oily skin, full pump for dry to mature skin. Apply before or mix with Facial Cream best suited to your skin type.

Give it a few minutes before applying makeup or sunscreen. Your face should appear dewy but not greasy, otherwise you’ve got too much!
