Bentonite Clay – the Ultimate for a Detox Bath

Volcanic Secrets Within’s Wyoming Bentonite Clay is the perfect ingredient for detoxifying your body.  The source of the Clay is very important, and this source is the best.

Mined directly from the earth, rich in beneficial minerals (silica, calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, and potassium) it is 100 percent natural and organic. The American Indians referred to it as a miraculous natural clay called “ee-wah-kee” meaning the mud that heals. Now it is commonly and widely known as the “healing clay.” The reason being, is that bentonite has a strong negative electromagnetic charge and when activated by water it swells open like a sponge absorbing 7-10 times its weight and 18 times its dry volume acting as a powerful magnet in and on our bodies absorbing and removing toxins, impurities, heavy metals, and chemicals thus helping to restore the body to a healthy pH balance. This unique quality combined with its mineral enriched properties naturally transports oxygen to cells and improves blood circulation while detoxifying, purifying, healing, and replenishing/regenerating skin tissue. This process results in the reduction of the appearance of scar tissue, acne, fine lines, and uneven skin tone while improving the look of the skin giving it a firmer vital, fresh, healthy glow.

Bentonite has been dubbed “the clay of a 1,000 uses” because of its versatility. It can be used externally in the following ways: Skin poultice for bites, burns, cuts, and stings; Skin paste to calm itching and irritation due to eczema, psoriasis, chicken pox, rashes, blemishes, etc… Mud pack/mask for smooth and healthy skin; A detox bath to rejuvenate the skin; As an ingredient in homemade skin care recipes. How to Detox Your Hair

Volcanic Secrets From Within – DIY Bentonite Clay Mask

You might be in need of a detox bath if you have any of the following symptoms:

headache

fatigue

brain fog

allergies

itching

anxiety

If you don’t have any symptoms, I would still recommend you give it a try, but talk to your doctor first.  You might want to try the detox bath as a foot soak first. Since the clay binds toxins, you might notice a few clumps of clay stuck to your skin after the bath. Just rinse them away.  You might want to use a cheesecloth or some kinds of strainer so it doesn’t clog up your drain, though.

Here’s the Recipe for the bath:

I do this about once a month, and I always feel more energized the next day.  My skin feels super soft and my muscles bounce back after a hard workout!
